Ambient shading

Hey guys wondering why we’re seeing these black patches on the unlit part of our mesh. We’ve set the ambientColor to 0xFFFFFF and the ambient to .5. As you can see from the screenshot we’ve got complete black patches. Are we using the ambient properties improperly? Both directional and point lights cause the problem.

We’ve maybe solved this, literally one compile after I hit post. Doing some more testing to be sure. But I think our material ambient settings were conflicting with our light’s ambient settings.
