Hi, I have already shipped a product using away3d. Thanks.

I need help on getting visual subclasses I make to rotate, or move.
For instance a plant mesh with leaf meshes that can move a bit.

Thank you for your reply

You have already shipped a product that uses Away3D ? And now you are asking about how to make stuff rotate ?

Sorry, I don’t understand this. Maybe you could elaborate a little.

Any helpful replies here? I didn’t state what role I had on the project for crying out loud.

Right now I’m trying to make subclasses which extend objectcontainer3d or even Mesh, and have tried ALL the properties and methods such as moveto, position, rotationX, et cetera as dictated by the reference docs and it seems to be broken. I am rendering on enterframe and working off the examples. Once I move stuff into a subclass it breaks completely.

I am hoping I overlooked something and that this isn’t a bug in Away3D. Our development team encountered many unfortunate limitations during development when they used Away3D on the last project. I was having a toss-up whether to begin this next project using Unity or continue with Away3D despite the entire team’s unexpected struggle with the platform. I have chosen to go with Away3D. This has stopped me in my tracks though.
