outlineMethod and texture alpha

Hi there.
Is there a way to use the outlineMethod and preserve the alpha from a textureMaterial?
When I turn on the outline effect, the alpha area turns black, and looses all transparency.

In this snapshot, I show the real effect of outline on the backface of the skirt.
The skirt only has 1 face side. The backface shows all black instead of invisibel.
Is there a way to correct this effect with the outlineMethod?

In my tests I noticed that the outline method correctly draws a line around the shape, and respects the alpha channel.
The problem is in the backface culling. If a mesh has only one side, the backface shows as black.
This was deceiving me, because i had 2 faces in simetric placement, simulating a 2sided face, and the black of each backface was looking like the outline method was drawing the hole face box, without respecting alpha..
In the snapshot, you can see the small pikes on the shoulder pauldron;
They have a black box drawn around the mesh, because there are 2 faces simetric there.
