Im getting about 30fps with intel hd for graphics on an I5
shadow is a bit of a killer in fps.

Yeah the tracks worked out well.
They are the only thing that could be classed as finished. The orignal model had about 14,000 tris per track and a ton of links. Obvioulsy couldn’t use physics with that. So went for low poly (1,300 tri) version, with Uv animation and 8 hidden hinged wheels for physics.
