Assembly ‘07 winner gives Away3d a run for it’s money
January 26, 2008
Although it was a few months ago now, this winning entry for the browser demo category at Assembly ‘07 stands out as one of the Flash highlights of last year. A fantastic example of what Flash is now capable of, with the 3d contingent coming from what is described as ‘a heavily modefied Away3d engine’.

What about ‘downloads’ under pages or svn googlecode (source) under links?

This is my first attempt at using away3d and as3 to build a website…
Wasn’t sure what away3d was capable of when i first started therefore the idea and design of the site isn’t too creative…
Nevertheless, im quite satisfied with my experiment although the site is still feels abit “raw”. Will definitely touch it up.
A shoutout to the fantastic away3d team, away3d.dev user group and anyone that is thinking of trying this amazing engine. (You wouldn’t regret it!)
