So the the question is what is the purpose of this away builder if it cant support more formats than actual away 3D library?

Any kind of 3D format -> Away builder assembly-> AWD2
for AWD2 to be in any way useful it has to support bug free every single 3D tool with releases of at least last 3 years.
As for Away builder, as it is right now, it doesn’t serve any practical purpose other than visually checking models.

]]>well, i think this is a problem right know. and a issue that can be fixed.
Animations that loop, work perfectly in away builder.
But when play a animation that has no loop, it plays once and then gives errors.
Please, just remove the error out and play the animation once if i hit the play button without errors.
]]>I have a request as well as a question for anyone that can answer me.
First, I have been using away for a while now and used the prefab utility heavily. The first version of prefab had a very nice path animation addition to its already vast capabilities. Prefab 3D came out and dropped that functionality and it was sorely missed on a few of my projects. Are there any plans to make a path creation, path animation tool in the near future and if so what kind of timeline are you looking at.
Second, I see that prefab is still running, and given the similarities between away builder and prefab, is away builder replacing prefab?

]]>I read somewhere in the AWD doc that the LineSegment implementation is still in discussion. Is there anywhere else I can follow or get more information about it?
Because I will probably implement a custom awdblock to save them, it would be nice hearing from the dev team their thoughts about it, so I don’t go so far when it gets officially implemented.
P.S.: Where is the “AwayBuilder” option in the “Related software” field of the forum post?

After all, you do use middle click to do camera translations, and scroll wheel to zoom in and out. So why not use right click to provide options/actions depending on what’s clicked, like other 3D tools ?
Prefab3D is strangely in the same situation.
