In regards to the post made by Nikouf, I believe if Adobe was to incorporate Away3D into their next Flash release, they would have to probably compensate the creators of Away3D somehow, because then Adobe will be earning profits from using someone else's work. Morally, this is NOT right and examples of this would be Microsoft (in general). Although the idea is great, you just can't earn profits from selling a freeware product/extension made by someone else.

Thank's Fabrice! The point was just that i was planning to develop something very similar to what this demo shows and i just needed to look at it to see how it was structured and how the different things where putted together.... but your information regarding the classes used is already a good starting point i think... probably i will join the group of developer as you suggested in order to have further help and info...

Regards...

The source are not available. Not because I don't want to share, but because it uses a code not compatible with the public version of Away, many classes added to Away were developed doing this demo. All the improved classes are in the trunk. For this demo only 3 classes were used: SegmentsExtrude, Lathe and Skin. The Lathe class got already a dedicated tutorial you can find on this site. I hope be able soon add tutorials covering the other two. For technical help, just join our group and hundreds of developers will probably provide you all the help you need if necessary.
